  • Look for yourself.

split open the head of a real poet

and you will find it full of

    scum cum dirt boredom

    lies smoke fire hell

    tears more cum

    more tears and blood

    days of fever and defeat

    madness utter madness

and a lot more horrible things

    and he will die

before he opens his mouth or

before he begins to make any sense.

  • You feed me.

    you feed me bullets

    you feed me uncooked butterflies

you feed me drain water and lemon soda

you feed me sunlight and ass

you feed me crap books and boring satire

you feed me boiling water and salt stones

you feed me all the hells at once

you feed me breasts and legs

you feed me day and night

    horror and hatred and fright

you feed me tears and kisses

you feed me gasoline and nitrogen

you feed me when no one else does

    you feed me anyways.

  • Dirty eyes.

Early morning. Heartbroken. Defecating this loneliness and shit. Irritated by the tap water tapping on the bathroom floor. Now, what else is there to do. My blood will be taken away in a short time and it will get analysed and I will be declared a lunatic. Not a bad consequence of being alive all these years. Somebody’s footsteps outside the bathroom door. My neck is aching, like an elephant sat on it while I was asleep. Anyways, I am done here and same goes for my writing.

  • The only one.

It’s a beautiful morning burning like hell. I have pulled the curtains. Everything before my eyes is orange and blue. A proper bath is needed but to hell with that. I got nowhere to go. I am the carrier of a deadly virus and so far, the ride has been a tiring one. Two nights ago, I got a mini heart attack but I survived even that. Shame on me! Better, shame on the virus! Life keeps throwing useless things at me – the virus, social media, bad poetry, this sun, this heat. For once, I want to feel light in the head. It’s not much of an expectation but it’s the only one I am left with.

Lost my head and found this. That was yesterday. Days keep ending just like this.

  • What next?

Started writing some short stories. I guess a short story book is coming next. How soon, I cannot say. I have few ideas and I am going wherever they take me. I do not plan much. Often, much planning isn’t required either. A little of it does the work. I guess it’s better to do and fail than do nothing at all. Failure might break you but you get far ahead of others in winning at this game called Life.

  • Days of sickness.

What else about this evening? I am feeling better and that is all. Five days in isolation. Five more to go. The virus is a real bastard. Outside, days and nights roll away. Who really needs my permission or my advice? No one. With me locked in a room, the world went on fine. That is what I am and that is what you are. A nobody. Anybody can do what I do. No job is impossible to do. Anybody can be replaced. That’s the truth of an ordinary life. It keeps repeating wherever you look.

  • Dirty and living.

    I haven’t taken a bath
    it’s been two days
exorcise me from my ill ways

my skin is some dirty rag
    burn it in bonfire
    roll my ashes and smoke
    but be careful,
    hide under a cloak

    my teeth they have yellowed
    from too much drinking
    too much sitting
    and too much thinking

    my nails they have grown
    taller than eucalyptus
    hold them by your hands
    run over them a bus

    my hair
    my hair
    oh they are already gone
I sold them to a king
    without a throne

    I wait for the evening
to bring to this world some light
    and some water
    for this poor man’s delight.
